On the 10th of November, Antoni Segarra defended, at the Ebro Observatory, his doctoral thesis entitled "Automatic detection of the abrupt beginning of magnetic storms using neural networks", obtaining his doctorate with excellent grade. Dr. Segarra has performed this work under the supervision of Dr. Juan José Curto in the geophysics PhD program of the Ebro Observatory (Universitat Ramon Llull).
